Larimer County held a neighborhood open house to provide information and answer questions on June 15, 2017. A short project overview was presented.
The 2013 flood event caused widespread damage and changes along waterways throughout the County and other areas of the state. In response, the State of Colorado is taking steps towards bolstering long-term planning and resiliency efforts by funding the Colorado Hazard Mapping Program (CHAMP) that will update local hazard information including regulatory floodplain maps for the most affected waterways.
Larimer County’s current special transport permitting procedures have remained relatively unchanged since 1978. We are updating our County permitting program to be more in-line with the Colorado Department of Transportation’s (CDOT) oversize/overweight permitting system (COOPR) and regulations.
The City of Fort Colilns, City of Loveland and Larimer County Board of Commissioners approved technical revisions to portions of the Larimer County Urban Area Street Standards. The changes are effective as of September 19, 2016.
On July 21, 2016, Engineering staff hold an open house meeting to present information about a project to repair flood related damage on CR 25E. Below are links to information presented at this meeting.
As the Larimer County community continues recovery efforts from the natural disasters of the last few years, private landowners are being asked to sign numerous documents. The documentation needs are driven by the nature and location of the project as well as the funding source. One of the most common documents is a Right of Entry (ROE).

Larimer County has set two new benchmarks in the Glen Haven and Drake flood damaged areas to help property owners and surveyors doing work in the canyon:
