  • New Permit Processing System will Take Effect June 6, 2016

On June 6, 2016, Larimer County will transition to a new software system to handle all land development and permit applications. The current software is unsupported by the vendor and is incompatible with updated programs.

A new citizen's web portal will also be unveiled on June 6, 2016. Citizens will now be able to view the status of their permit, schedule/cancel inspections, pay fees by credit cards, search for existing permits, view land use applications and apply for specific types of permits.

To use all features of the citizen's web portal, a registration and login will be required. To register, please go to https://onlineportal.larimer.org/Account/User/Register (click here to view instructions on how to register. Registrations will not be reviewed and approved until June 6, 2016. Please check your email around this date for registration approval.

To implement this new system a few modifications to the way we do business will take place:

    • May 27, 2016 will be the last day we can accept or issue new or existing permits until June 6, 2016. During this time frame we will continue to perform inspections, review plans and applications and offer code advice.
    • Effective June 6, 2016, all inspection requests need to be completed by 11:59 p.m. the day before the requested inspection date. We will no longer be able to process same day inspection requests.

We are excited for this new opportunity and appreciate your patience with us during this transition.
